Ok, to start out the discussion, lets debate ways to do crossovers for the two generes.

First off, how do you think the "less-reputable" elements of SW (smugglers, bounty hunters, pirates, etc.) would affect the "law & order" Federation types?

I'd bet Karrde would have a field day w/ the Ferengi...

 

The way I see it. SW and ST are the opposite ends of reality. Ones too utopia. Anothers too third world.
Combine both universes together and you might get a decent aproxamation to real life.

 

SW is closer to "real life" than ST. More greed, graft, and regular people just trying to make a living in the universe.

The closest ST has gotten to "real life" was DS9. And they eventually watered it down...
