After over a year in production, TrekWars: The Furry Conflict has released it's first episode in it's Audio Theater series, based on an original and inventive crossover between Star Wars and Star Trek. The release was coordinated with StarWarsFanWorks and will also be aired (though not in as high fidelity as on the site itself) this coming Sunday on swendirect.

Nathan Butler complimented the the mix as "very clean, right up alongside the work done by Abbott and his team on Rise of Nobility or Steve Fluharty's Anthology episodes." The goal of the story is to create a crossover that both a Star Wars fan and a Star Trek fan could enjoy, while tossing in a little humor as well. For a new and original insight into either of the franchises, head on down to the site, and give the first episode a listen. I think you'll enjoy what you hear.

May you live long, prosper, and The Force be with you!

~ Marc Xavier of TrekWars: The Furry Conflict

Amazing quality! I'm still not quite following the plot totally yet, but I'll keep listening to it. I should have been paying more attention rather than typing on the computer at the time. :) But youg guys really had the format down. Sounded brilliant.

Glad you guys liked it so far! We worked really hard on it, and though we're very proud of the results, we still have room for improvement. Being a crossover, we had a few extra hurdles to cross, but overall I think we did pretty well.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I really apreciate it.

And, for those who may be interested auditions for the second episode are currently open.

I got to listen to chapter 1 and I enjoyed it, I loved the fact that all the characters are furries instead of humans, This series has something for everyone. :)

    Hi Marc,
It's me, Marcus Starkiller from at TFC, I was wondering what is wrong with the site. I can't get to it, I tried to e-mail you asking about it, but it appears as if your e-mail doesn't work.
