Well, I talked with hothie and we figured out a few things, so I get to go!!

I'm coming in that Thursday afternoon and will stay the night. I'll need to make hotel arrangements if anyone has suggestions for a place near by.

there's a hotel across the street from the store. i'll try to get the name & phone number. we do tend to go out with the author afterwards if they are willing.

Odd question but: I know Indiana used to be a little different with timezones and daylight savings time, is Indy the same as the rest of the midwest now?

Hey - I got a question: How did you guys find out Denning was coming?


On an off-hand chance I check B&Ns around MN here - and sure enough, he's doing a signing at our store on May 13th... but no one in my group had heard anything about it (which I thought was kinda weird since we have a member who has an "in" with the bookstore and they normally let her know about upcoming events)

 

i work for b&n and i find out as it happens.

i'll assume you can find indy. 465 circles indy. on the north side is state road 31 (otherwise known as meridian). the store is the carmel store. carmel is the city just to the north of indianapolis. take 31 north into carmel. take it all the way from 465 to 146th street. you will pass under the bridge. it is the only bridge from here to peru other than 465. on your left will be a best buy, a laser vision place, a don pablo's. we are behind don pablo's.

 

Sounds easy enough

 

man... i'm both excited and exhausted. coordinating this many groups can be quite a mental strain
