ST Was the flight of the Resistance a scheme to bring out Luke ?

VII make it abundantly clear that the First Order leadership have a fairly good understanding of the setting grand strategy-it's always boil down to Jedis and Sith in the end, so kill Luke Skywalker, then conquer the Galaxy (of course, as they are in Star Wars and are vilains, they can't stick to one plan...)

It failed epically in VII. It worked perfectly in VIII. For all the mockeries about Snoke, Hux and Ren, their plan DID succeeded (by accident or by design) at doing what the Galactic Empire, the Vong and assorted vilains never managed.
