I really like Macquarie's campus. Lot of trees and stuff as I recall. It was like a small forest in the middle or something. Or well, not a forest, but a grove possibly. Nice area of Sydney too, imo.

Los Angeles get a lot of cool cell phone codes, compared to other places, like when I receive a call and it's like 617 or something I'm thinking what kind of messed up number is that? 323, 310, 818, those are cool numbers. Anything that is repeating like 323 or 818, or ends in a 0 is usually cool. It's funny how many codes they have down here, in Oregon we just got our second one when I was in high school, everyone was 503, then we started seeing 541s for outside of Portland.

 

I remember when it was just 818, 213, 714. If someone called you from 805 or 909 (which started in the ealry 90's) they lived way out in the boonies.

I knew so many people who were really upset with 323 and no longer being in the 213.

Its funny. I don't think I will ever give up my 818 cell phone number even though I no longer live in So. Cal.

Yeah, JT, I feel the same way about my 310 number. I have been considering it though, 'cause if I joined my parents' plan it would be like 1/4-1/3 the price, so I *should* do it, but like...then I'll have a 612 number and have lost my most prominent connection to CA! Not to mention having to start a brand-new contract, and then whenever getting my own # again, having to start ANOTHER new contract, bleah.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this section of the Jedi Council Forums and wanted to introduce myself. My name is DavidScJr and I'm out here in the L.A. area (lived in the 213, the 323 and now the 818). I work in project management for the studios here in town but am moving into the producer category recently. I am working on a fan film now but would love to see what everyone else is working or just talk about the SW universe. Looking forward to meeting everyone here at LAFF!
