Hello? You have looked at the covers of Rebirth and Star by Star, yes?

The one on Rebirth cover must be a Gunship, IMO. Because it looks slightly different and bigger.

I don't think so... Did you notice the 'arms' ? And the extra-size of the cockpit ?

Well, I guess it could have an artistic explanation, but since we have another version of a skip, I like to think it's a gunship analog.

    Let's see here...

The coralskippers on the cover of Star by Star are just scans of the one by R.K. Post in the Essential Guide to Aliens. Cliff Nielson used a computer, and possibly Photoshop, to add color to them and change the size. They are coralskippers. Gunship analogs look nothing like coralskippers. The average gunship analog is about 100 meters.

I never said anything else... I'm talking about the ship on Rebirth cover.

"Gunship analogs look nothing like coralskippers. The average gunship analog is about 100 meters."

You know, you can't tell the size of an object on a cover, especially a space ship. See Ruin cover, for example.

Do you have a precise description ? I'm willing to change my mind if you can prove I am wrong.

And Wedge : I do not stand corrected. Yet. :p

The yorik-vec cruiser from Gamer is about 30 meters long. The normal gunship analogs average about 100 meters, as per Star by Star.

Could you post a pic of it ?

And maybe that Rebirth cover thing is a corvette. I think those are only slightly bigger than standard starfighters.

That is a coralskipper on the cover of Rebirth, with a worldship in the background. This has been confirmed by Terese Nielson, the cover artist.

Xizor, if I had a scanner and a website... :D

It might be on Nom or Coopra's sites, whenever they get back up or whatnot.

Also, there is a new pic of it, the Yorik-vec cruiser, in Gamer 8 as well. I guess it does look slightly simlar to skips around the cockpit. But thats about it.
