Saga What is your favorite kind of 'trooper'?

So, I've always been a huge fan of the Scout Troopers myself. Even though their masks aren't very practical (looks like it would severely limit their peripheral vision) they just look awesome and when I was a kid I can remember loving them!

I'm interested to know what other people's preferences are? Imperial, Clone & First Order Troops are all included.

I've listed the main variants in the poll above.

As a kid it was the AT-AT driver (realizing of course that they were just slightly modified and repainted Tie Fighter Pilots)....




However, as an adult I love the phase two clone troopers. That bridge between the two trilogies, the role they play in the destruction of the Jedi Order... Love it!

 

Love the coolness of Phase 2 Clone Troopers, but I'll always have a soft spot for classic Stormies and Sandtroopers.

 

Phase 2 clone troopers are my favorites I think..very hard to choose between them and stormtroopers.

 

Snowtrooper, their design was one of the best throughout the saga.

 

I'm the solitary vote for the Tie Fighter pilot, lol. Somebody's gotta give some props to the guy swiveling his head around saying "look out" and then running into Vader, doing his part to save the rebellion! Always loved the cross between the Stormtrooper and Vader in his look.

 

Snowtrooper, always loved their look and ultimately are both my favorite imperial class and trooper in star wars.

 

Sand troopers. They look like they've been through the wringer.

 

First Order Stormtrooper.

Seriously, I think they did an excellent job with that design. It's a logical successor to the Imperial Stormtrooper, as sleek as the Phase I Clone Trooper and, to me, every bit as iconic as both of them.

 

The Scout gets my vote. That boot holster is rad, is it not?

 

Sorry for the late reply but if I'd have to pick a clone it might be this type. I admit I flip flop between phase 1 and 2 armor but I've been leaning on more phase 2 recently even though I used to prefer 1 more. That blue particularly goes well with that armor.

 

Snowtroopers. They make hazmat suits look badass.

 

Speeder bike troopers (or what ever they are named, those in episode 6). They have the best looking helmets.

 

I voted for Cline Trooper, but I also prefer Phase II armor as well.

 

Tie Pilots, they look awesome and they're just so formidable. Especially, in ANH.

 

AOTC clones - they come as modernized, sleek, and intimidating

 

Interesting to see clonetroopers have the most votes.

I will agree I like the phase 2 clones the best. I like the different colors denoting divisions, and the differing designs of the suits based on use and environment for those models.
