I am not a lawyer, and nothing I say to you should be interpreted as legal advice, but I personally, as a layman with no legal experience, would find it unwise to create a written declaration that I had purchased an illegal drug.

Obviously, if you are in a place where marijuana is legal, then whatever, but also recall that federal law bans marijuana in Colorado and Washington, even though state law does not. The administration is selectively declining to enforce federal regulations there.

Again, not a lawyer.

 

That's not something that would have occurred to me to worry about. I'm way out in rural Canada in an area where everybody grows and smokes. I use it for chronic health problems and pain. It's legal with a permit and a small fine without one so no big deal for anybody.
I do appreciate the advice and the spirit it was given in though so thank you.

I've made posts about marijuana before. It's legal where I live, as well, for medical and recreational use. You should be okay.

 

I recently purchased two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole multi colored collection of uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. I got a bulk discount.

 

Again, not a lawyer, but even though there are no statutes in the State of Colorado against marijuana usage, federal statutes still apply, but for the moment, the federal government is selectively declining to enforce those regulations.

 

Yes, they are declining, and I doubt that will change.
