Well if you want to start Chronologically read Splinter of the Minds Eye. But If you want to get right into the action, The before mention Thrawn Triology is a great place to start.

SkywalkerDude: The third book is called The Last Command . :)

And I heartily recommend the X-wing books, but that's just because I like them. If you don't like stories that don't focus around the movie characters, don't bother with them.

    Sorry, it's:

    1. Heir to the Empire
    2. Dark Force Rising
    3. The Last Command

These are set 5 years post-ROTJ.

Shadows of the Empire is a book that comes between ESB and ROTJ.

EDIT: Axl beat me to it!

If you like a good laugh, read the X-Wing: Wraith Squadron series by Aaron Allston. Many laughs will follow. :)

In a sense no. You've made 5000 posts to just now be recognized by a fellow JCer. Maybe in another 5000 posts you'll be recognized again, :p
