NJ, yeah, the accents are pretty hard. Our teacher told us she knew two French girls who'd come to China, and had messed up 'soup' and 'sugar' in a restaurant, so they ended up with a coffee and a soup... embarrassing, isn't it ?

Once I was using a comp at university, and the connection suddendly ended, so a guy came in the computer room and tried to see what was wrong ; he eventually threw us all away. I was still logged in at the JC, and I was really scared he would try and find who was using the computers for fun once the connection was restablished all the more so as Luce isn't exactly a common name *sigh*

i´m very surprised here, there are people who speaks chinese, japanese and arabic in this forum but nobody seems to speak spanish. is it really so difficult? (es mi idioma asi que no puedo juzgar por mi mismo)

I want to vote here as well but I can't, as I found no trace of Southern Europe...

I 've studied German for about 3 years but that was quite a long time ago so naturally I remember almost nothing in German. I 've also studied French and English - I 'm fluent in the latter and as far as French is concerned... well... I think I can hold my own...

BTW I 'm from Greece and yes, please stick to English!

I 'm thinking about taking up a new language which will rather be Italian. I 'm told that it 's easier to learn it once you 've been taught French... Is this true?

 

of course we should stick to english since it´s the only one we all know. I just thought it a bit strange that so little people knew spanish(after all it´s the third most spoken language in the world, i think)
