Which Characters do you think will star in the T.V. Series?

I think one or all of these three movie Jedi who I think survived Order 66 could star in the show. These three are Even Piell, Bultar Swan, and Pablo-Jill. The show could also possibly star an EU character like K'Kruhk or Quinlan Vos if he survived?

 

well...I'm hoping for Vader, Stormtroopers, Bail Organa, Chewie, etc.

 

I hope Vader or Tarkin are the main villains in the show. Don't know about Vader though because GL said no major characters are going to star.

I'd like to see a few Vader cameos, even though he probably won't be in the whole television series.

 

Piell is dead, Swan is dead, Jill is dead, and Vos is dead.
None of them will be in the series.
It is going to be about Obi-Wan of course.

 

I would have liked to see Aayla Secura but she is quite dead
It would be interested later on to se an early teenage Leia.

 

Boba Fett - We need justification for his comedic demise in ROTJ and seeing him kick some butt here and there would suffice.

Han Solo - As hard as it would be to put a young face to Harrison Ford, we need to get some background on how this guy came to be from Lucas' eyes. Not the novels. At the very least, let's see the Millenium Falcon dropping its cargo at the first sign of an imperial starship.

Jabba The Hutt - It's going to be a long series. There's room for plenty of episodes involving Black Sun which brings me to my next character.

Xizor - I'm not sure how old he is when he dies but if it's anywhere near 30 or 40, the later episodes will definitely be able to involve him with some Black Sun issues.

Jedi, Jedi and More Jedi - One of the most disappointing things about ROTS, IMO, was the fact that Vader never killed any Jedi that we ever got to see. I hope the series shows Vader doing some mopping up.

Lastly, I'm sure there's other characters but I'm pretty sure this show won't be around any time soon and the novel Dark Lord is coming out in February 2006 which is set between episodes 3 and 4 so we'll get to find some things out that may or may not be in the show.

 

Bail Organa is one I'd like to see. Smits loves Star Wars, and it's not as though he hasn't starred in TV shows before (NYPD Blue). Since the foundations of the rebellion were removed from ROTS, let's see some of that in the show.

 

It is going to be about Obi-Wan of course.

Boba, Tarkin and such are the deal...

 

In the USA Today article it says the guy who played Boba Fett in AOTC approached GL about the T.V. Show and that he may have a part in the T.V. Show. I don't think he'll be the star after reading the article but do think he may be a frequent guest star or have a minor role. Whoever said Bultar Swan, Even Piell, and Pablo-Jill are dead how do you know that from what I've heard, seen, and read none of them were killed in the movie, novel, graphic novel, and EU. So you can't be so sure. They may all or one of them may star in the upcoming T.V. Show. Obi Wan will also not star because it's going to be about minor characters.

 

Dudes, you must undertand that GL don't give a foot about EU...

He'll put the guys he want, the way he want..

He could easily make the show with the main character being Quinlan Vos...

Just because it is about minor characters doesn't mean Obi-Wan isn't necessarily a cameo at some point. And we all know Lucas, who knows if he's telling us the truth, it could be all main characters, who knows?

 

i wouldnt mind seing a blue skinned, red eyed imerial officer being seen in the background of one of the shots on coruscant

alos, Gilad Pealleon would be a nice adition to the cast.

 

I think you'll get Boba once in a while. Bail will be there once and a while too I bet.

 

Rumour has it it may be about Boba... ouch.

 

Call it Star Wars Kids. starring baby Luke and Leia. Lando and Solo as kids and their adv. Boba too.

 

Is anyone else with me in thinking that an EU character like Mara Jade or Corran Horn could be well adapted to television. I think Corran Horn could be a great character for a television show because he has a range of abilities, from Rogue Squadron pilot, to CorSec agent, and finally of course, Jedi Knight. He's got a wife whos a treasure hunter and a father-in-law who has a big red ship, and who happens to be a smuggler. I think it would have a little something for everyone to be interested in. I don't think an EU character has nearly enough popularity to draw new fans, but slap the name "Star Wars" on anything and people will give it a shot.
