Which Era would be best to make new movies and your cast?

I don't think post ROTJ is a good idea because not many people could accept recast of the big 3.

The Great Sith War is the best I could think about, KOTOR is also awesome but not that epic. TOR's canon story has not been done yet.

Legacy. Comics.
Some stuff between RotS and ANH would be nice, but not focused on the main characters so far as stars. What about the rest of the galaxy?

I reckon it'd be best to stay with the order of episodes 1-6 and base episode 7 after ROTJ. Although I've always wanted to see an episode based between episodes 3 and 4 focusing on the few Jedi that survived Order 66, like Shaak Ti and Quinlan Vos, I thought that'd make a pretty good film.

Set 5 years after ROTS, Vader and Boba hunting down the few Jedi that survived Order 66

I think post-ROTJ would be best since some of the original actors are still alive.

I would prefer something like 500 years after ROTJ. No skywalkers or solo's or bacca's, completely new story, galaxy and characters.

With Mark Harmon, you have the possibility of a spin off. NCIS:Star Wars
