Who had the greatest/best/strongest friendship? Obi/Ani or Han/Luke?

I just thought this would be something interesting to discuss.

 

Obi-Wan and Anakin were like brothers. They had been together almost every day for 13 years. The relationship at times was father/son while at others they were brothers. Needless to say they loved each other like family.

Han Solo and Luke Skywalker are two friends on a great adventure. Yet keep in mind they only know each other for a few years during the original films.

With that said, Obi-Wan and Anakin have a greater bond between them.
Which makes it all the more tragic.

Well, I would say Han and Luke were like brothers, too. However, before that was the nature of Obi-Wan and Anakin's relationship, realise they were like father/son as well. And they've known each other a lot longer. And they have been around each other the better part of practically every day. Sure, it's created tensions as well, but I'd still have to say they are the closest of friends. There's a Force bond there to consider, too.

Well, Luke never killed Han, so I'll vote for them.

I've argued with my parents. There are also friends that I have never argued with.

That doesn't mean I love my friends more, or that we share a greater bond.

Obviously, I love my parents more, and there is a stronger bond there.

Just because they end up hating each other in the end, doesn't mean the initial friendship wasn't strong.

obi wan and anakin, hands down

 

Han and luke, they were together at a time when they had a clear enemy and that bond was much stronger..there was some playful competition but anakins power or potential for power was damaging to his relationship with obi wan. Han and luke work together without as much friction and anakin seemed to love and have contempt for obi, so Han and luke, no doubt.
