Why did Obi-Wan wait so long to train Luke?

    Why? I mean not even the Jedi Council wanted to train Anakin at age 7 (Wasn't that the age?). So how come Ben waited until Luke was 20?

    I saw ROTS, it doesn't explain why he waited until Luke was 20

    Plus he adds "When you were old enough" when giving Luke the lightsabre, but Yoda says "Too old".

    Because a movie about a toddler would have sucked...

    Unless it had Bruce Willis voicing the toddler.
