I can never get over how Wookieepedia has articles on abstract concepts like color and death.

Just, why. Why would you feel the need to do that.

 

Wookieepedia seriously tried to be the Wikipedia for Star Wars, not just your average wiki on another fictional universe, which is why they have articles of like that.

 

What's funny is how many things should have articles according to this philosophy, but don't. Look, I made a list!

 

In some instances it was just taking the urine. Then others took that concept and and ran with it leaving the irony behind.

 

Ya they got some real weird articles

And they even have one on breasts like why is this needed.

 

Gravcouch is currently featured on the front page as "Comprehensive Article."

Hum hum hum-hum-hummmmmmmm.... to edit or not to edit...... it's been so long since I've edited anything on wookieepedia that I'm sort of afraid to get involved again, but.... hum hummmm... this one's begging for it....

 

For a short moment afterward, you'll feel great. Amazing. Relieved.

Then you'll feel slightly worried. Just concerned, really. That concern will cause you to go back over the article, eyes racing, not sure what you're even looking for. Anxiety will set in, slowly at first, but as you're about to save the page again, anxiety will turn to full blown panic. What if I made a mistake? What if I've done something terribly wrong? What if someone is watching me!?

Then you'll revert the edit, hope no one saw it, and go back to lurking, where you feel safe.

Color, I don't really know. But like an article on death, detailing the various ways cultures and societies view death, the traditions associated with death, and how they treat/dispose of the dead, plus death's relationship with the Force? That seems like kind of a really interesting and valuable thing.

 

If you're a new user, you'll most likely get your edit reverted immediately by someone whose Wookieepedia bloodline goes back ten generations or something.

 

I got my first 10 edits reverted.

Then I just edited to much that they could not.

I was going to edit it but I can't trust myself. All it requires is adding the "Canon" tag, but if I get that far I can't stop myself from being an idiot and adding something snarky.

They live on the same damn planet and live in the same damn little cave colonies. You want to see a picture of them? Go to the damn Legends article. They probably look every bit like that. Is it described in Lords of the Sith to look the same as its Legends counterpart and have the same living habits?

 

Yes.

 

There is probably some differences in living habits since OEU Ryloth was a practical death world were the twi'leks was scraping out a living in cavernsystems while the NEU have shown Ryloth, or at least parts of it, as rather habitable and the twi'leks having living conditions not that dis-similar to other civilized planets.
