Chalk this one up with the other film nods to the EU, let alone the fact that it's Marvel:

Cinescape recently had an article about an Expanded Universe tie in to Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The article mentions that the speeder that Anakin uses in Coruscant belongs to Senator Simon Greyshade, who is featured in the Marvel Comics. Below is the summary of the comic that Simon Greyshade features in, "The Wheel".

There's a summary of what exactly is in "The Wheel" in the comics section. I for one don't have the comic so I have no idea what it's talking about but maybe some of you who do can reminice about it. Correct me if I'm wrongbut it seems to me that this is yet another realization of a comics character on celluloid. Discuss...

There is another thread already started about this by Mavrick889.

Check www.cinescape.com for the full details.

The yellow speeder that Anakin 'steals' in AOTC belongs to Senator Simon Greyshade - who features in the Marvel comic "The Wheel".

Oh, sorry Mav... I didn't see your thread any where around. I take it that address above is a link to it.
