Nash, TN Yoda's World Tour

Well, just when you think I'm letting down on my CR duties, I found a new thing for NAD to be involved with. Remember some time ago we all talked about the travelling Vader figure and how we got left off the list due to a transition in command? Well, by pure luck I found out today on the Chattanooga board that a world tour is about to begin for a Yoda figure. This is being sponsered (I believe) by the Santa Cruz, CA FF. Well I think the cut-off date is tomorrow, so I requested we be added here at the last minute. I've sent off contact info to the appropriate person (I think) so should be hearing soon on if we made it onto the list. Once he arrives we'll have 2 weeks to photograph him around town and then ship him off to the next spot. I know that Chattanooga & Memphis are already on the list, so we may have a spot between those 2 chapters.

I'll let y'all know more when I know more.

Sounds like fun we could throw Yoda a party and take tons of pictures maybe take him to the TGI Fridays in Coolsprings now that it's be remodeled with a Yoda replica. And we could gimmick up postcards of us with him lol. Cute senseless fun.

So, in the past 6 months, Yoda has:

* Been lost in London for 3 months.
* Partied like a Brit in Midlands, England
* Enjoyed the countryside of Wales
* Had over 10 new fanforces added to his tour (mostly in Europe)
* Spent the holidays in a French Post Office
* Got "Returned to Sender" back to Wales

So that takes us up to now. We're preparing to send Yoda to France for the 2nd time. Hopefully, he'll stay there this time.

The website is almost finished. However, our webmisstress' computer crashed, so it will take a little bit before we can finish it. There are several text mistakes on the website (for instance, she listed Canada as being part of the USA ), but other than that, it is nearly there! I will let you know when it is finished.

Well, after 3 tries to send the little guy to France (and failing each time), we have decided to skip France and move on to Germany. The tour is WAY behind schedule, so we hope it will pick up pace and continue on.
