    I'm not talking about mainstream music that happens to throw God's name in as a "good luck" charm, but that which is done primarily with Him in mind. I grew up on country and CCM for the most part, and even today some of my faves include people like Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, and the like. Which songs and artists in this genre do you enjoy? Here's a few of mine...

    Moviefan2k4 I do hope you realise getting sincere responses in this thread was always going to be an extremely long shot...

    My favourite Christian bands are:
    Relient K
    Kutless
    The Digital Age (these guys were previously part of The David Crowder Band whom I also enjoyed)

    Hey, mine was serious. Stryper are literally the only Christian band I have ever heard of.

    I'm not sure about that. So far, the main hecklers around me are pretty much the same in every thread.

    I've heard of the first two, but not The Digital Age. I'll look into them; thanks.

    Another band that weaves lots of Biblical messages into its music is Skillet; they're really good.

    Not a fan of most "modern" music anyway so I don't like any rock, let alone Christian Rock

    But I do like the traditional hymns, I like Graham Kendrick, I love baroque and classical oratorios.

    And I ADORE John Rutter

    I mainly listen to reggae and ska, so the Christian artists I consistently listen to in this genre are Solomon Jabby, Living Stone, and Five Iron Frenzy.
