Cincin, OH Your plans for SWG

What is everyone's plans for playing Star Wars Galaxies? What kind of character do you want to play? What race? Are you mostly going to play solo or in groups. Do you want to Join the Empire or fight for the rebelion or stay neutral? How many hours a day do you think you might play?

 

Well, I think you already know about my character...

 

Smuggler all the way. Dunno what species yet. I will have to wait and see what the advantages/disadvantages are of each species. But probably human and neutral for while I am learning the game. After that, who knows?

 

I'm going to be a bounty hunter that hunts bounty hunters. Then I haven't decided on a race.

Does anyone know how much Galaxies will cost to play online?

 

I believe it will be a fee of $10 a month... Well worth it if you ask me!

 

I've heard $10 a month as well. I would assume it will be the same as whatever Everquest (Evercrack) is.

 

well the game has been officially released almost a month now and i am still not 100% sure what i want to do when i grow up lol.

I'm thinking bounty hunter with rifleman possibly. I know i want to rank up in the rebellion and finish off the Jabba's Palace theme park as well so i can get my jobs directly from the slug himself. (seems like a conflict of interests but somehow in the game it's not.)

Anyone changed their ideas since playing?

 

Yeah, I am going with some part of the artisan profession. Right now I am leaning towards weaponsmithing, but its still up in the air.

I am on the rebellion side,but it doesn't stop me from being a Jabba thug!! I'm almost ready to level to bounty hunter Plus, I have 2 great sidekicks... An abnoxious red twilek and a donut loving calamari... lol

 

He's not a doughut lover. Hes just a little out of shape.

 

So will ever see him with doughnut powder all over his face while tinkering with some weapon, like a really large bomb or something?

 

I know exactly to what you are referring.... And no.... Though he has the same hairstyle. He just doesnt have glasses or anything.

Yeah, well, when I get my image editing software reinstalled, you'll see some cleverly edited screenshots.

 

While Lowca was down I fiddled around on another server and found the sarlaac pit.... Its really tiny and far out of the way... You wouldnt know where to look by its surroundings. At first it looks just like a regular terrain dip, then you get right up on it and see the tentacles.Got some screen shots if anyone wants to see, just pm me yer email address. Its pretty gay looking. Its also non-lethal. You can walk right through it and it does nothing. Hopefully in future upgrades you can fight it.

I was originally planing on being a Zabrak pikeman/medic pVSp, but after i fought a few duels against some players with rifles and pistols i found out that their arent many ways a brawler can compete against someone who constantly runs and fires. So i decided to screw the medic and go Pikeman/Creature handler. I figure my minions will be able to out run any player so as long as they can stop them long enough for me to get up close i should be a force to be reckin with. fwanana
