Since we're asking questions, would using any kind of a template make it easier for you, mods, when it comes to us who are submitting our reviews in the last moment?

Sorry, this is going to be short as I have a lot to do today (and will be gone pretty much all day). The template easiest for us is if you copy and paste the list of fics in the OP in the order that they are in (yes, I know, Microsoft word messed up putting it in alphabetical order and I didn't catch it - just leave it how it is), put your award beside the title, then a link to your review under it (it doesn't have to be fancy or marked up, we will understand).

Example (I'm using the mod's out of competition stories, and my awards suck because I don't have time to think):

Done! Possibly late and disqualified from the actual competition. But done! [face_dancing]

I had a miserable day yesterday - the broken-not-broken toe hurt a lot, we argued at home non-stop and then one of my besties had a similar argument with her dad, over the exact same things ("we are not able to lead a normal life" - they say o_O) and I chose to comfort her. Then I just ate two cocoa and puffed rice bars, got sick, said "kriff everything" and went to sleep. As the only reviewer that failed miserably, I apologise - this has been an odd Summer overall and I'm still getting used to who I am in general...if this is who I was meant to be.

I will still comment on all the stories and I'm looking forward to the rest of this. Hope the topic stays, regardless of the competition's end - after all, it's not an actual competition. :)

I have one response to that: What's "normal"? Everyone has their own "normal", and it's constantly changing, whether we want it to or not.

Know that you have some random not-quite-strangers around the world wishing you the best.

@Ewok Poet, I hope things are at least somewhat better today. Don't beat yourself up about not meeting the deadline -- it happens to all of us and I nearly was in the same boat. (Right down to falling asleep most of the afternoon Saturday; I was DEAD TO THE WORLD for whatever reason. :p )

To me, it almost always happens on weekends, and I realised that this was the case even in childhood. I need to find a way to cope with it. And yeah, not procrastinate when I had 46 days to do something. :p

Dang, missed the deadline, too, as it seems. Even though I commented.

And now onto the challenge part of this mod!challenge:

Us mods had a very difficult, but very welcome conundrum when judging this challenge. Our three participants gave such thoughtful, enthusiastic, and supportive reviews and awards to each of the stories, it was really hard to choose winners for the prizes. So, in the end, we decided that @Findswoman @Kahara and @Raissa Baiard all deserve prizes and individuals comment awards!

    For Findswoman: Most Creative Awards

    For Kahara: Most In-Depth Reviews

For Raissa Baiard: Most Empathetic Reviews

Thank you all for your feedback and encouragment of so many writers. And thank you for participating in this experimental mod!challenge!

Mavjade will contact you regarding your week of colours!

    Thanks everyone!

A quick congrats to all the winners and reviewers before I am off to the Harz Mountains! An off-line oasis full of nature & fresh mountain air.

Please do create more challenges like that if time allows you to do so, dear mods!

And for the reviewers: thanks for putting so much effort & thought into your feedback.

Thank you everybody for having created, contributed to and reviewed in this challenge. :) It was awesome! Hope that the next time around more of us are capable of the latter. [face_blush] Word limit would be one of the good ideas to make it more simple - for writers, not the reviewers.
