Y is for Yhazi, a delightfully mischievous supporting character from @Findswoman 's works that center on Shulma (another OC of the same writer) and which are part of the Lasan series created by @Findswoman and @Raissa Baiard . Yhazi is one of Shulma's friends from the Royal Lasat Academy of Shamans, and she makes sure that her friends and fellow students don't take themselves too seriously. Appearances include but aren't limited to Our Big Fat Lasat Wedding. One of my favorite Yhazi moments is one where she does not show up in person but her influence is definitely there in Feel Safe at Night. [face_laugh]

Z is for Zefora Herrikruf, older sister of Garazeb Orrelios and breeder of prize-winning voorpaks. Zefora appears to like many kinds of animals, as her farm inhabitants include tookas, annoobas, nunas and chookens.

As a child, she played a joke on her brother by dropping a ginntho (a large spider-like creature) into a cup he was using, resulting in Zeb's lifelong discomfort with multi-legged critters. However, as an adult, Zefora loans him one of her beloved voorpaks for a ceremony involving a troop carrier that Zeb is required to perform.

She appears in Findswoman's short fic "The Captain, the H-Goater and the Voorpak."

A is for Kaagi Adin, a Jedi-knight and healer who manages to escape the purge. He is a Dunai elder and marriesAranella, a nurse helping him to care for his friend Aaqu Maerhin years after his escape to Moniron, realising that the rules of the Jedi of no attachment are obsolete. He appears in many of my stories

B is for Ben Darklighter, the main protagonist of @Lisse's AU futurefic epic, The Circle. There are actually two versions of this story, the original (and unfortunately, truncated) version, and the completely rewritten version (also truncated here, but it's available on AO3, along with several more chapters). Both versions feature dark!Luke and an Empire that never fell, and in them, Ben Darklighter is an eighteen-year-old mechanic who just wants to stay on his family’s farm and tinker with his machines and not cause any trouble, anywhere, ever – and he definitely doesn’t yearn for adventure like that Rebel-turned-Imperial Skywalker boy no one likes to talk about…

C is for Caterina Blood, an aspiring writer from Rori, one of the moons of Naboo, with a taste for overly poetic prose and existentialism. She has also, along with her younger brother Hansel, taken up with a local theatre company, where she works largely behind the scenes. (With a few notable exceptions.) In her large family, she has always been known as the quiet one who likes to read--or as a few of her immediate older siblings would say, the boring one who does her living through reading--but you know what they say about the quiet ones.

She is the protagonist (and in-universe, the author) of Death and the Maiden.

D is for Davin Dor who appears in Mirror Stone

From the files of Charity Lek, Editor of the Tattle Tale and the Galactic Standard News.

Davin Dor is possibly the best known Cultural Ethnographer within the current Temple Hierarchy. Dor has had two padawans during his time at the time, Saelyra, a headstrong Miraluka and now formidable Shadow, and Tara Tarindae, an equally headstrong human. an archivist.

Like many Ethnographers, Dor’s countenance and reported disregard for the rules of the Temple have often brought him into direct conflict with the Council. The most notable conflict concerned Dor’s role as editor for a line of popular romance novels about Jedi. Dor’s argument that he acts merely as a cultural guide to ensure that the Temple is not being maligned has brought him into conflict with some of the more dogmatic Jedi Council members who do not feel that this is appropriate behaviour for a Jedi Master.

Dor is known for his unorthodox methods, often frequenting some of the rougher establishments across the galaxy, arguing that places where people carry visible weapons are far safer than places where people only weaponise their words. Dor is known for ditching the Jedi's traditional uniform to wear loud shirts, arguing people clam up at the sight of tan and whites. This mentality, along with Dor’s frequent travels through much of the outer-rim has enabled him to forge strong links with some groups and convinced a notable number of rulers to join the Republic in either a full or allied role.

Recent events have meant that Dor is now hover-chair bound, and his second padawan, Tara Tarindae, has been blinded. While this has not seemed to curb his enthusiasm for travel, he refuses to discuss this misadventure with anyone.

There have also been rumours that Dor is part of the Shadow Keeper faction within the Temple - a rumour he, and the Temple, denies.

Charity's notes: Seek out more information. Could be good story about rogue Jedi elements. Theft of cultural artifacts? What are the Jedi hiding?

E is for Lens Eli, one of @brodiew's fantastic long-standing OCs. Lens is a foundling whose mother left him on the steps of the Jedi Temple as a baby. He was raised in the crèche by Tionne and Kam Solusar. Bold, scrappy, and loyal, Lens becomes close friends with Ben Skywalker - his brother of the heart - and together they go on all sorts of adventures and get into all sorts of mischief. Most of the original stories featuring Lens are truncated, but he can be found in most, if not all, of brodiew's drabble threads, along with the stories The Foundling, Rebel Yell, Lens and the Masters of Americana, and the AU iterations of Different Lens'.

F is for Jadin Finn, a Jedi-healer and friend of Kaagi Adin and Aaqu Maerhin. During a rescue mission for Stat, one of his clone medics and landing on Moniron he meets his beloved and near the end of the clone wars he takes action. Jadin has been wounded during a mission. He instructs Stat to take his girlfriend and get her to her home-planet. Stat does and carries Jadin Finn to a transport where his colleagues Beran Daranon and Skon Peverin will have him travelling to Moniron where he meets his beloved Arisha, expecting their son. Finn Fun is his completed diary and he appears in many of my stories.

G is for Garashai “Shai” Orrelios, Zeb’s irrepressible (and occasionally annoying) younger brother in The Beginning of Honor. Shai aspires to be an Honor Guard just like his Zebby and can often be heard shouting “Orrelios brothers together!” When Shai is caught out in a fierce dust storm due to Zeb’s negligence, he risks his life to save his younger brother and learns the truth of the Honor Guard motto: “helping those who cannot help themselves is the beginning of honor”. Years later, when Zeb meets Ezra, he is strongly reminded of Shai.

H is for Nathan Hallin, from @blank101’s Son of Suns trilogy. When we’re first introduced to Nathan, he’s a surgeon on Darth Vader’s personal medical team assigned to care for Luke after his capture at Bespin. Nathan winds up permanently assigned to Luke’s own staff, and becomes not just his personal doctor but also a close friend and one of his few trusted confidants within the Empire. Nathan’s friendship and loyalty are unshakable, and he’s almost always able to defuse any of Luke’s more difficult moods - even though he’d prefer a much calmer life than he currently has, so closely connected to the highest levels of the Empire as he is. Nathan is found in Into the Storm, In Shadows and Darkness, and At the Brink of the Dawn and the Darkness. The stories are truncated, but can also be found on ff.n.

On Corellia he is unable to prevent the murder of the parents of a young baby. The baby will be brought to the Jeditemple. Leod also brings a group of initiates to the Jeditemple after a commuter has trouble. He ends up on Moniron where he becomes a technician in the hospital

J is for Danya Jayo, who appears in Ἀνάγκη – Necessity beyond Sway. Master Jayo was a professor in the Galactic Academy of Fine Arts, later renamed the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts. Under Isard's rule, she was made Master Curator of the Galactic Museum, not so much as a promotion but as a means to prevent her from instilling controversial ideas into the minds of her students. In her new capacity, she was ordered to create a permanent exhibition in memory of the Emperor and Darth Vader, or suffer the consequences for failing to do so. This is the ridiculous, over-the-top-propaganda exhibition that Wedge visits in X-Wing: Wedge's Gamble.

    K is for Kithera Rinani!

    From the Temple Personnel Files.

As a padawan Kithera Rinani was prone to throwing herself into grand plans without much thought of the consequences. Guided by her Master, Namia Zahalin, Kithera often didn't quite fit into the quiet, contemplative life of a Jedi Knight. She often found herself on the outer with her teachers, and many Master complained that Namia wasn't strict or forceful enough in getting her always moving padawan to sit still and listen just for once. In her early twenties, Kithera accompanied her Master on what was supposed to be an easy trip in locating and testing a Force-sensitive child and bringing them back to the Temple. Unfortunately the entire mission failed and ended with Kithera killing her Master. Upon her return to the Temple, Kithera found herself even more on the outer and frequent fights with the Council ensued. This culminated in some of the more disastrous mishaps of the first exchange program, a failed romance with noted Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and pregnancy. Kithera left the Temple in disgrace after refusing to give up her child and disappeared.

There were rumours that she had taken up with a band of marauders and pirates that were terrorising the outer-rim. Known only as Akira and always sporting a red item of clothing, this group of thieves and scoundrels was known for taking high quality and expensive items before disappearing into the vast network of planets. Multiple Shadows have been sent after Kithera, and nearly all have failed to locate her.

    **
Kithera first appeared all the way back on March 1st, 2000 in the first Ultra Stressed Jedi Students thread and most recently in The Fourth Path. She's done quite a bit for a 23 year old character...

L is Lamtee Plohwell, who appears in Ἀνάγκη – Necessity beyond Sway and A Tree-Dweller in Imperial City. Lamtee was a student in the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts on Coruscant from 6 to 2BBY, where he met his core group of friends and his partner Dacco. Both he and Dacco were Zeltrons and they successfully revolutionised Zeltron art, which until then consisted exclusively of volumes, by introducing a type of two-dimensional holofriezes. Many Coruscanti businesses commissioned them for redecoration of their premises, most notably the popular restaurant Old Zeltros. They decided to leave Coruscant during Isard's rule and returned to Zeltros, where they continued their successful joint artistic career and lived happily everafter until a ripe old age.

M is for Mellé. Surname classified. She is a former member of the rebel group of anonymous Naboo women in identical royal facepaint known as the Naboo Queens. Since she parted ways with her sisters-in-arms (under circumstances no one, including her, wants to talk about) she has been assigned with rebel alliance intelligence, and is currently undercover as a graduate student at the university in the walled city of Floreat on Eriadu.

She appears in The Wrong Side of History.

N is for Nico Jade. In the Renewal!verse, Nico is the only son and middle child of Ronan and Nadira Jade. His older sister Mara was kidnapped by Palpatine less than a year before he was born, and much of his youth was shaped by the ensuing trauma of that loss. In many ways, Nico is the family member who is most like Mara: they’re both reserved, insightful, and fiercely protective of those they love. He’s an amateur artist and inherited his mother’s blond hair and green eyes, and his father’s mechanical skill. He marries Rielle, a professional artist, and they have two children, Rylan and Valeria. Nico appears in most of the Renewal!verse stories, particularly The Battle and The Emperor’s Hand.

O is for Onion, who appears in Ἀνάγκη – Necessity beyond Sway and Artistic Differences. 'Onion' was actually his nickname, his real name was Mabalsa and he was a self-taught Dug artist who came to live on Coruscant at some point around 10 BBY. A defining feature of his art was that he used organic materials that eventually decomposed and rotted away. He was a big hit on the Coruscanti art scene circa 2 ABY, but things became more difficult for alien artists as the Empire began to crack at the seams and then to crumble. He ended up getting involved with the wrong crowd at the time of Isard's rule and met a sticky end.

He is sent with his friends Beran Daranon and Jadin Finn to the grand hospital on New Holstice where he treats the injured Jedi and clones before going with Jadin Finn and Beran Daranon to Moniron. Q is for Qumawarat, a Wookiee mother who appears in Ἀνάγκη – Necessity beyond Sway. She and her young son Chemayyano were abducted by Trandoshan slavers and sold to the Empire, who put them to work in various industrial facilities. They managed to escape during a transfer from one of Coruscant orbital platforms and were found by a group that helped runaway slaves. Sadly, the Empire noticed that the two Wookiees had gone missing before their rescuers were able to locate and deactivate the explosive tracking chip embedded somewhere in her body, but she died in the knowledge that her son was safe.

R is for Rhysa Zy-Elss, a Zeltron Jedi from my Song!verse. Like many of her peers, Rhysa has benefited from the Renewal of the Jedi Order; as such, she is close to her zys-family and proud of her Zeltron heritage while still being completely dedicated to her goal of becoming a Jedi Knight. Friendly, outgoing, and strong-willed, Rhysa eventually becomes Aayla Secura's padawan - and perhaps something more with her fellow Jedi apprentice, Ezra Bridger. Rhysa is the protagonist of Color Me Pink, and features in the drabble set So Full of the Universe We Overflow. Here, her interest in other Force traditions leads to her participating in the Exchange, where she visits the Royal Lasat Academy of Shamans on Lasan, and another much beloved boards OC visits the Jedi Temple on Ossus in return. (Borrowing Shulma Trilasha Orellios from @Findswoman and @Raissa Baiard's Lasan Series was an honor, even just for a short piece, as was dabbling in their fanons on Lasat shamanism, so I had to mention as much here.)

T is for Grand Master Thaaban, who appears in If This Is A Man, a long-suffering story of mine set in the very distant past of the Republic, way, way before even a Jedi outpost was established on Coruscant, let alone a temple. Thaaban is a Jedi-politician and his name means 'snake' in Arabic, so you can probably guess that he's not a very likeable person. He tends to think of Jedi as superior to those who are not Force-sensitive and, if he had his way, they would be at least involved in, and ideally in charge of, governing the galaxy. The majority of the Jedi Order disagrees, but it seems that he will at least have it his way in establishing formal Jedi representation on Coruscant.

Though at the same time Ulrika made also several strong friendships, most of all with Elena Kyr and the two would be inseperatble ever since, first as friends, then lovers, eventually wifes. They went undercover in the Peace Brigade together during the Vong War, Ulrika ultimatley being responsible for parts of the PB turning on the Vong in the final battle. Things seemignly winding down... until one fatefull night, Ulrika getting a message from Ilona Malek´s father. Despite her dislike for her rival, she instantly was willing to risk her own life for Ilona´s sake... a descision, that would not only bring their rivalry to a close, but also set in motion events that would forever change the Galaxy.

V is for Vek Talis, protagonist of the stories written by his namesake @Vek Talis. Vek (the character, not the author) is a FrAG, meaning "from another galaxy", i.e. a person who was transported from their home galaxy into the pre-KotOR GFFA by undefined Force magic and ended up becoming a Jedi. He's a cool, snarky, sometimes annoying dude, not the best or most talented Jedi there is but definitely competent and with his heart in the right place, and being from a galaxy where KotOR is a thing he also gets meta from time to time. His current outing is in Vek's (the author's) Kessel Run series, but he appears in most (if not all) of our fellow author's stories.

W is for Wren Ordo, younger daughter of Sabine Wren and Maximius Ordo. Unlike her mother and her older sister, Bellona, Wren has no special talent for art, and no particular interest in in. She would rather play mesh'geroya, get'schuk or practice her marksmanship for the next Clan Meet on Mandalore, where she hopes to match her parent's records. In fact, she dislikes art so much that she arranges to accompany her "cousin" Ronen Syndulla-Jarrus on a dangerous mission to Korriban as his bodyguard rather than go to Coruscant foe one of Sabine's exhibitions. It is on this mission that she meets Kazuda Xiono. Despite his lack of altheticism, he impresses her with his strength of character, and the two quickly become good friends. and soon more than friends. Eventually Wren and Kaz marry and have a daughter named Tori.
